CDK: Session on Child Abuse Conducted

As many as 53% of one in every 2 children are victims of child sexual abuse, which often happens at the hands of a trusted person within the home. Parents must be vigilant and sensitive to their children’s signals.

We conducted a workshop for children and parents to make them alert and aware about how sexual abuse happens. Sexual abuse occurs with boys as much as with girls and can leave lifelong scars on the individual.

Workshop conducted through CDK made children aware of what classifies as child abuse and what to do when they witness / experience it.
